Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of RaetOS's websites, app, browser extension, and related services. When you accept these terms during registration or another acceptance flow, you enter an agreement with RaetOS LLC. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. If you use RaetOS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are allowed to accept these terms for that organization.

RaetOS is operated by RaetOS LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.

You must be at least 18 years old to use RaetOS. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

• Keep your account information accurate and current.
• Use a secure password if you sign in with email and password.
• Do not share your login credentials or allow someone else to use your account.
• Notify RaetOS if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• You are responsible for activity you authorize and for taking reasonable steps to protect your credentials. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access and cooperate with reasonable security checks.

RaetOS provides tools for career recordkeeping, opportunity review, resume generation, application packet creation, and application tracking.

• Master Resume helps turn your work history, accomplishments, skills, projects, education, certifications, and related details into structured career source material.
• My Queue stores job postings you choose to capture from the browser extension or app.
• Decision Engine compares a posting against your career record and helps you decide what to generate next.
• Resume and Application Packets help you save generated outputs for a specific role or application.
• Tracker helps you organize application status after you decide to apply.
• Career capture preserves work evidence. Network and Compose organize contacts and help draft messages you choose to use.

RaetOS is not an employer, recruiter, placement agency, or representative authorized to bind you or an employer. Capturing a posting or generating a packet does not submit an application. Starting Tracker does not confirm that an employer received anything. You control external submissions and messages, and must verify deadlines, eligibility, employer requirements, and delivery yourself.

Features, supported sites, models, and usage limits can change. We may impose reasonable limits, interrupt service for maintenance or security, or discontinue a feature. We will give reasonable notice of a material discontinuation when practicable, subject to legal requirements and urgent operational needs. No service-level agreement or guaranteed support response time applies unless separately agreed in writing. Keep copies of important materials outside RaetOS.

Your content includes career history, resumes, uploaded files, captured job postings, notes, generated packets, tracker records, and other material you add to RaetOS.

• You retain whatever ownership and other rights you have in your content. Uploading a third-party job posting does not transfer its owner's rights to you or RaetOS.
• You grant RaetOS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transform, transmit, and display your content to provide, maintain, protect, and support the service. We may authorize our service providers to do the same for those purposes, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the right to upload or enter the content you provide.
• Do not upload classified information, trade secrets, credentials, confidential employer material, or personal information you are not authorized to provide. Describe achievements without exposing restricted source documents or unnecessary sensitive details.

This license does not authorize us to sell your content or use your name or resume as a public endorsement. It lasts while needed for these purposes, including retained copies described in Privacy after deletion. You authorize processing by AI providers when you use AI features; their retention and training terms vary as explained in Privacy. For voluntary product feedback, you give us permission to use the ideas without payment or attribution, without granting ownership of your personal career records.

To report content that infringes your rights, contact legal@raetos.com with the content location, the rights involved, your contact details, and supporting information. We may restrict disputed content and accounts engaged in repeated infringement, subject to applicable law.

RaetOS and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, designs, templates, trademarks, logos, and documentation, excluding your content and third-party material. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purposes. You may download and use your permitted career outputs for your applications and career activities. No right to resell the service, copy its branding, or imply our endorsement is granted.

RaetOS uses AI to analyze job descriptions, compare your career record against a role, suggest resume structure, generate draft resumes, create application materials, and prepare interview support when requested.

• AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or poorly matched without your review.
• You are responsible for editing and verifying any generated resume, cover letter, email, ATS text, interview prep, or other output before using it.
• RaetOS does not provide legal, immigration, financial, tax, or professional career counseling advice.
• RaetOS does not guarantee job placement, interviews, offers, compensation, eligibility, or application success.

Outputs can contain invented facts, outdated information, bias, or material similar to outputs received by others. A match score is a product estimate, not an employer's assessment or a prediction of an offer. Verify qualifications, dates, metrics, names, citations, and representations before use; do not present invented experience as fact. As between you and RaetOS, we assign to you any rights we hold in outputs generated for you, excluding our pre-existing materials and third-party rights. We do not guarantee that an output is unique, copyrightable, or free from third-party claims.

You agree not to misuse RaetOS or interfere with the service.

• Do not use RaetOS for fraud, harassment, spam, unlawful activity, or impersonation.
• Do not submit false, misleading, or unauthorized information in a way that harms others.
• Do not attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, authentication, or access restrictions.
• Do not scrape, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit RaetOS without permission.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, models, or private system behavior except where allowed by law.
• Do not upload malware, malicious scripts, or content designed to disrupt the service.
• Do not access another person's records, misuse contact information, send unsolicited bulk messages, or use captured content contrary to applicable law or the source site's restrictions.
• Do not automate excessive requests, evade usage limits, or use the service to build a competing dataset or train models without written permission.

RaetOS may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, email delivery, security, analytics, AI processing, and other operational needs.

• Google and Microsoft sign-in are used for identity only. RaetOS does not request Gmail or Outlook mailbox permissions.
• Your use of Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, AI providers, and other third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• RaetOS is not responsible for third-party websites, job boards, employer portals, or external content linked from the service.

A linked posting, employer, or third-party site is not an endorsement. We do not verify every posting, guarantee that a vacancy remains open, or control an employer's decisions. You must have permission to capture and use external material. Our providers may change or experience outages. Nothing here excludes responsibility that applicable law requires RaetOS to retain for its own service or provider arrangements.

Where enabled, RaetOS offers requested account-verification codes and separately opted-in career reminders by text. Text messaging is optional.

• Verification codes are sent only when you request them or choose text verification.
• Career reminders require a separate, unchecked consent choice. Choosing text verification does not enroll you in reminders.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Reply STOP to opt out. Provider opt-out restrictions can also block verification codes. Reply HELP for help, or use the Support contact below.
• Consent to optional text messages is not a condition of creating an account or using RaetOS.
• These consents do not authorize SMS marketing.

Keep your mobile number current and only enroll a number you are authorized to use. Delivery is not guaranteed; do not rely on reminders for deadlines or emergency notices. For help, contact support@raetos.com.

RaetOS is currently free unless a paid feature, plan, or service is clearly presented to you before use.

• You will not be charged without your affirmative consent.
• If paid features are introduced, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before purchase.
• Paid features may be governed by supplemental terms presented at the time of purchase.

• You may stop using RaetOS at any time.
• You may delete your personal account through Settings or contact us for help. Export important records before deletion.
• RaetOS may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being used for abuse, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, or serious violation of these terms.
• When an account is deleted, account-owned data is scheduled for backend cleanup, subject to legal, security, backup, and operational requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

We may restrict content or access while investigating a reasonably suspected violation, or when required by law. We will provide notice and a route to request review where practicable, unless doing so would create a security risk or violate law. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Termination ends your right to access the service; accrued obligations and provisions intended to survive continue, including intellectual property, retained-content permissions, disclaimers, liability limits, third-party claims, and dispute provisions. Organization records and provider copies may remain as described in Privacy.

RaetOS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free outputs, or perfect compatibility with every browser, job board, employer site, or document format.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAETOS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS ARE ACCURATE OR THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR CAREER RESULT.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaetOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or employment-related outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RaetOS total liability for claims related to the service, under any legal theory, is limited in aggregate to the greater of the amount you paid RaetOS for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100. Multiple claims do not increase this aggregate cap.

These exclusions and limits apply only where lawful. They do not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights under the law applicable to you remain.

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify RaetOS LLC and its personnel for reasonable losses, damages, and legal costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful use, intentional misuse, material breach of these terms, or content you supplied without required rights. This does not cover losses caused by RaetOS's own breach, negligence, or misconduct, or obligations that law does not allow us to transfer.

We will give prompt notice of a claim, allow reasonable participation in its defense, and reasonably cooperate. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault for RaetOS or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent. Any defense arrangement must be agreed in writing. For consumers, this obligation applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable consumer law.

If there is a dispute, contact legal@raetos.com so we can try to resolve it informally. This does not require you to delay a filing, waive a deadline, or give up a right to contact a regulator.

If informal resolution does not work, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction located in Michigan, except where mandatory law allows you to bring a claim elsewhere or requires another law. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief for security, misuse, intellectual property, or unauthorized access concerns.

These terms and expressly agreed supplemental terms form the agreement for the service. A separately signed organization agreement controls a direct conflict within its scope. Privacy and Cookies explain data practices and do not waive mandatory privacy rights. No partnership, agency, employment relationship, or third-party beneficiary right is created, except for persons expressly protected by the third-party claims provision.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger, reorganization, or sale of the service, subject to applicable law and without reducing mandatory rights. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control, except obligations that law does not permit to be excused.

We may send service and legal notices through the app or the email address on your account, subject to legally required notice methods. Keep that address current. These terms do not consent you to optional marketing messages.

RaetOS may update these terms as the service changes. When we make material changes, we will identify the effective date and provide notice through the service or by email before they take effect when practicable. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect sooner where permitted. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to an existing dispute.

Where law or the nature of a change requires affirmative acceptance, we must obtain it; posting revised terms alone is not a substitute. Otherwise, continued use after notice and the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the service and export or delete your account records.
